This beautiful little lady is Nell. She is a typical boisterous, excitable, fun loving girl, but has missed out on some early training in her first home so we will be looking for an experienced HPR home where she will have her training started from scratch and continued so that she can blossom.
Nell is in her second home and is happily living with an older sensible male pointer, who gives her support and company when she is left alone as well as teaching her how to meet other dogs calmly because she can become over excited which can be too much for some dogs. She is also living with three children and is very good with them, giving them all lots of licks and love. She also likes to retrieve her ball and search for toys :) While she is a very active girl she does struggle to keep weight on her, which is quite common with young energetic GSPs.
Nell travels well in a crate in the car, she also sleeps in her crate in the house at night. At the moment she is being trained in a secure paddock where her present owners are building up her recall, which is very much improved in a short space of time, but it hasn't been tested out of the paddock where there are lots of interesting things to distract her.
Nell hasn't lived with a cat but has seen some around her area and we have no reason to think that she couldn't be trained to respect one. She hasn't been introduced to livestock so we have no idea how she would react.
Nell is only 9 months old so will be very energetic for many years, she will also need constant training and her walks will have to be spread out through out the day rather than one long walk while she is still growing and developing.
She has already had two lovely homes that she has had to leave through no fault of her own, so we will be making sure that this is going to be Nells final move into her forever home.
Nell is currently in the Cheshire area and is being rehomed with our full Rehoming contract and 5 weeks free insurance from Agria. If you would like to be considered as Nells Happy Ever After contact the GSP Rescue UK Team.
